From Ron Over the last month or so, a couple of places that used to offer blues performers have either closed or have decided to no longer do so.Hopefully this is just temporary and not a pattern. On the other hand, I've just found out about a venue in Whippany that offers blues performers. Click HERE for more info on the organization that sponsors the performances. If you go to the Bucks County Blues Society picnic, please stop by and say hi. Please continue to support the local musicians. Remember, no fans- no venues; no venues-no performers.
The
TrentonBlues CD update: The CD has been delivered to the duplicator. It should be ready by the end of the month Click HERE to
see a list of songs and performers. Click on the song title to hear
a sample. I had a tough time selecting the songs but I was guided by
the purpose of the CD which is to acquaint blues fans and venues with
the different types of blues being performed and the many performers
that play the blues. As I promised, the CD will be distributed to those
who have
already paid the $20 subscription. I should be able to order some more,
so if you want one, please sign up as a paid subscriber as soon as
possible. As always, if you have any suggestions or comments, please let me know. What’s Going
